Clare Gardens Park Design Plan

9 05 2013

CLARE PARK DESIGN SIDE ONE TWO 2 small size - PLANTS (2)

The plan for Clare Gardens was done by Ann Coffey, who is an Evergreen Foundation consultant.

Ann specializes in creating garden designs to encourage children to become more curious and comfortable with nature. All the plants in this area will be plants that are native to Eastern Ontario. The paths will be made with stone dust to ensure that the “To Where the Wild Things Are” garden is accessible for everyone.

Building on last year’s park celebration play, “The Legend of Clare Gardens Park”, the new wild garden is meant to provide a nice environment to lure the Clare Gardens Park fairies back to their original home.
