Re-Development on McRae Avenue: Update
June 5, 2009The proponents of the major “Westboro Collection” project on McRae Avenue and Scott Street have submitted their formal development application. The supporting documents are now available on the City’s web site here (warning: some of the documents are quite large).
The deadline for comments from the public is June 24th, however the WCA will be requesting that this deadline be extended. We are also working to arrange for a community information session as provided for under the City’s development application review process.

As previously mentioned the WCA did contact the Councillor’s office about having a public meeting after the summer as people could be away on holidays. The Westboro Collection group have agreed to postpone the public meeting until after Labour Day. We also contacted the City Planner and while submitting comments was to be done by June 24th., that too has been extended.
